Begin Again with Joy

New weeks are new chances.

Not to “start over in shame”—but to begin again in joy.

Maybe last week felt strong.

Maybe it didn’t.

Either way, His mercy is here again today, saying:

“Come. Let’s keep going.”

Isaiah 40:31 says:

“But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles…”

Renewal doesn’t always come in loud moments.

Sometimes it’s found in the quiet resolve to show up.

To breathe deep.

To move with joy—not obligation.

This isn’t about “catching up”—it’s about rising up.

So today, release pressure.

Reclaim joy.

And move like someone who knows that God rejoices over you—not because you’re perfect, but because you’re His.

Affirmation for May 8th:

“I rise in joy. I begin again with grace. God renews my strength daily.”
