Rest Is Part of the Rhythm

Rest is not weakness—it’s wisdom.

In a world that pushes us to go harder and faster, Jesus gently invites us to come away and be restored.

Your body is not a machine. It is a temple. A dwelling place. A sacred space.

Even God rested on the seventh day—not because He was tired, but to establish rhythm, beauty, and balance.

Matthew 11:28 says:

“Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”

Today, if your soul is weary, let it be still.

If your muscles ache, let them mend.

If your mind is racing, let peace settle in.

Rest is where recovery happens.

It’s where your strength is renewed.

It’s where you remember—you are loved even when you’re not “doing.”

So breathe.

Stretch slow.

Lay your burdens down.

Let today be holy rest.

Affirmation for May 4th:

“I honor my body by listening, resting, and receiving restoration from the Lord.”

Thank you for choosing you!
